After dropping Liam off at the kindergarten, Olivia then headed to the office.
Upon arriving at the company, she thought about what Liam had said. Despite her hesitation, she eventually decided to call Harry.
“Pretty lady, are you missing me?” As soon as the call connected, Harry’s carefree voice came through.
Olivia’s lips curved slightly as she asked, “How are things on your end now?”
“Are you asking about him or me?” Harry asked the obvious,
“Why don’t you make a guess?” Olivia leaned back in her chair, the smile on her face widened slightly.
“If I were to guess, I’d say it’s about me. Am I right, pretty lady?”
“Quit joking. Let’s talk about serious matters.” Olivia made that call with the sole intention of finding out about Nathan’s current situation.
Of course, Harry knew it, too. He was just teasing her. “Pretty lady, you seem awfully concerned about him. What exactly is your relationship with him? I’m starting to get jealous.”

Olivia couldn’t hold back any longer and snapped, “Harry?”

A soft chuckle echoed from the other end of the phone, followed by Harry’s voice. “Don’t get mad, pretty lady. I’ll tell you right now.”
Olivia raised her hand to rub her brows, wondering why that phone call felt even more exhausting than a meeting.
“He has to stay in the hospital for a few days first and can only be discharged when his condition stabilized. However, he will need to return regularly for treatment until he’s fully recovered.”
Olivia slightly furrowed her brows. It sounds like this will take a considerable amount of time.
However, she trusted Harry, so she didn’t ask any further.
“In that case, you should get back to work,” she said, ready to end the call.
Harry’s grumble immediately sounded from the other end of the line. “Hey, pretty lady, that’s not fair. You’re going to hang up right after you’re done asking the questions.”
Olivia pretended not to hear him and ended the call directly.
