Seeing the situation, Nathan couldn’t help but laugh. “Mr. Quill, I promise I’ll explain everything to you later. However, right now, I just want to ask you one thing. Would you be willing to take on another student?”
Sophocles didn’t respond directly. Instead, he said, “Your son is gifted. I might consider mentoring him.”
The child’s talent was indeed exceptional. It was the only thing that truly piqued his interest.
“So, what you’re ultimately saying is…” In truth, Nathan probably could have guessed Sophocles‘ decision, but he just wanted
to confirm it.
“You’ve already asked me, so how could I not agree?” Sophocles said with a laugh.
Nathan also laughed. “Thank you, Mr. Quill.”
“Hold off on the thanks for now,” Sophocles raised his hand to stop Nathan. “I need to see the child first.”
“All right. I’ll bring him to see you tomorrow,” Nathan promised.
“Then it’s settled.”
Nathan nodded. “It’s a deal”
After finishing their coffee, Nailian escorted Sophocles back home before heading to his office.
As soon as he entered the office, Ethan followed him in. “Mr. Carter, Mr. Monroe has only taken up the online gaming project.”
Nathan turned his head to glance at Ethan, a faint smirk playing on his lips. “All right.” Just as expected.
Ethan nodded, then turned and left.
Nathan sat down, his slender fingers intermittently tapping on the table, his expression thoughtful.
After a while, he finally picked up his phone and sent a message to Olivia.
When the message arrived, Olivia was in a meeting with the IT team.
Her phone vibrated. Picking it up, she glanced at the screen and noticed it was a message from Nathan. So, she read it: I’ve arranged a calligraphy teacher for Liam. When you’re free tomorrow, take Liam to meet the teacher.
Upon seeing the content of the message, Olivia frowned. Why did he suddenly decide to find a calligraphy teacher for Liam? Morrower, he didn’t even discuss it with me!
After a long while without a response, Nathan sent another message: I noticed last night that Liam’s writing is quite impressive. He is truly talented.
Upon seeing the word “talented.” Olivia let out a self–deprecating laugh. This so–called talent must have come from him. He’s also incredibly gified in calligraphy.
After contemplating for a brief moment, she typed out a line of response: All right. Which teacher did you invite?

Sophocles! Olivia raised her eyebrows in surprise. She had never expected that he would invite Sophocles to be Liam’s teacher.
She had heard that Sophocles had stopped taking in disciples. If he had agreed, it was probably because Nathan had asked for the opportunity. However, he was Mr. Quill’s most cherished student. It was certain that if he asked. Mr. Quill would agree. Mr. Quill probably didn’t expect that after teaching the father, he would have to teach the son at tell.
