Chapter 305 Reject Him
Upon thinking about this, Olivia felt suffocated.
Her expression subtly shifted, and she turned to ascend the stairs, intending to leave the space to the father and son duo.
Nathan’s eyes darkened slightly when he saw that.
It’s a rare occasion for Daddy to visit. I can’t let Mommy go upstairs!
Liam quickly freed himself from Nathan’s arms and rushed over to take Olivia’s hand.
“What’s wrong?” Olivia lowered her head.
“Mommy, Daddy hasn’t eaten anything. It’s really sad. Can we let him have something to eat before he leaves?” Liam pleaded cautiously as if fearing she might reject him.
Olivia’s heart softened. She just couldn’t bring herself to reject him.
She glanced at Nathan, then turned to Tony who was standing nearby. “Tony, could you please help!”
Tony nodded. “All right.”
“Is this okay?” Olivia looked at Liam, a helpless smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.
Liam flashed a bright smile. “Of course,”
He then tilted his head, blinked, and asked curiously, “Mommy, are you going upstairs now?”
Olivia nodded
She felt certain that Nathan didn’t want her to stay here. person should have some self–awareness.
“But the puzzle isn’t finished yet.” Liam pouted, showing signs of discontent.
“Be good. I still have some work to finish.”
“No, you promised you’d stay with me until we finish. You can’t break your promises.”
Liam was acting coy, all the while clutching her hand tightly, as if terrified that she might actually go upstairs.
Faced with Liam’s persistence, Olivia found it both amusing and exasperating. However, she knew she couldn’t outstubborn him, so she could only let him lead her back to the living room.
A glint of triumph flashed in Liam’s eyes when he saw that she didn’t reject him.
How is it okay for Mommy to run away when Daddy comes?
Liam sidled up to her, sneakily gesturing toward Nathan to come over.
Nathan couldn’t help but chuckle. The usual stern expression on his face softened, making him appear much more gentle.
He lifted his foot and walked over, simply standing by and watching
As soon as he approached. Olivia could feel the overwhelming presence that was uniquely his enveloping her entirely.
Her hand, holding the jigsaw puzzle, trembled slightly, almost causing her to lose her grip.
She gently bit her lower lip, silently telling herself in her heart to ignore him.
However, the more she wanted to ignore him, the harder it became to do so.
