Liam felt more frustrated the more he pondered about it. So, he pulled out a V–Cube 10 from his pocket and deftly manipulated it with swift and precise movements.
His actions were incredibly skilled, and his mind was clear and remarkably agile. In no time, the V–Cube was solved.

At this moment, a lively round of applause suddenly erupted from nearby. A girl in an adorable frilly dress stood before Liam. The girl was quite pretty, with rosy cheeks that made people want to pinch them. Her round eyes brimming with admiration as she gazed at Liam.
Liam remained composed and replied, “It’s nothing… I’m not that extraordinary,”
He had mastered V–Cube 10 a long time ago. Nowadays, he fiddled with it when he was bored to break his previous records.
However, the little girl shook her head upon hearing him. “This is difficult; I can’t even solve V–Cube 6. You’re amazing. Liam! Can you teach me?”
Liam suddenly felt a bit overwhelmed by her request. It was not that he couldn’t teach; he was worried that she might find it too challenging to grasp.
Nevertheless, he reluctantly agreed after seeing the eagerness in her eyes.
Perched on a swing, they were engrossed in solving the V–Cube. Liam calmly guided the girl through the intricacies of the techniques. Despite his patient explanations, she was somewhat clumsy and unsure how to solve it multiple times.
Unintentionally, their actions drew the attention of other children, who gathered around to observe. A handful of girls were curious and impressed, pestering Liam to teach them.
At that moment, a child’s soccer ball suddenly flew over and struck Liam on the forehead. Liam was caught entirely off guard and received a direct hit. Pain shot through him, prompting him to furrow his brow
The children near him were startled and quickly turned their gaze toward the source, spotting a chubby boy standing outside the crowd.
This chubby boy was a head taller than the other children and had a robust build. He was the kindergarten’s bully. Many children became afraid and promptly stepped back upon seeing him.
Liam had already memorized everyone’s names that morning with his excellent memory. Without hesitation, he asked, “Brody, why did you hit me with the ball?”
Brody stood nearby, snorting disdainfully. “I wanted to hit you, so I did. Why do I need a reason? William, let me tell you, I rule this class. Everyone has to listen to me. Don’t think about taking my place.”
Liam’s beautiful eyes chilled slightly at his words. He replied sternly. “Apologize to me! Otherwise, I’ll tell the teacher you hit me with the ball!”
“It won’t matter even if you report me!” Brody tilted his neck fearlessly. “My dad is a powerful person. The teacher won’t dare to utter a word against him.”
Liam’s expression hardened, making his demeanor resemble Nathan’s. He could not let this slide. His mother had always emphasized apologizing when one made a mistake.
Yes, in that critical moment, the girl playing with the V–Cube gently grasped Liam’s hand and whispered, “William, please let it go. It’s better not to confront Brody. He’s very aggressive! Last time, he beat up another kid, and the teacher couldn’t do anything. The poor kid is too scared to come to class. Everyone is afraid of him…”
Liam furrowed his brows and glanced at the other children, noticing the fear on their faces. They were genuinely scared of Brody.
But Liam was not afraid. “Brody, are you not going to apologize?”

Liam remained unfazed. “Do you not have hands? Why should I pick it up for you? Besides, a ball is meant for playing, not for hitting people. If you can’t play properly, give it to someone else.”
