Olivia couldn’t help but marvel at Emma’s fake smile.

“Emma, why congratulate her? She’s shameless and deceitful, deluding herself into thinking she has any connection to Nathan,” Emily seethed, her glare filled with contempt.
“Olivia, mark my words: stay away from Nathan! Otherwise, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”
Olivia found the situation rather amusing. Wasn’t she already ruthless towards her in the past?

With those words hanging in the air, Olivia didn’t spare another glance at the disgruntled faces of Emily and her companions. Instead, she turned to King and the others and said, “Let’s go.”
Agreeing with Olivia’s decision, King and the rest nodded and departed.
Once in the car, Benjamin assumed the driver role while Lucas occupied the passenger seat.
Olivia and Liam, along with King, settled into the backseat.
Olivia embraced Liam and stared out the window, lost in her thoughts.

Putting on a brave front, Olivia offered him a reassuring smile. “I’m fine,” she replied.
