All the team members rushed to the stage and hugged Sandra and Zachary. Marcus took off his glasses and wiped his tears. He knew that Sandra had been waiting for that monent for a very long time.
Marcus looked for Sandra after the award ceremony. Since their research project was complete, the next project would begin in half a year’s time.
Marcus wanted to know what her plans were.
Zachary held Sandra’s hand and did not let go. “Since I’ve proposed, the next thing is to have a wedding, of course. If Sandra doesn’t want to go back, then we’ll just travel and get married somewhere else. In short, I can’t let her slip away from me again.”
Marcus smiled and nodded. “Alright, I’ll definitely attend your wedding. Tell me in advance and I’ll make time to attend.”
Sandra was teary–eyed. She was not good at goodbyes.

Zachary and Sandra packed up their things and prepared to leave the team. They saw Mike and Iren who had been waiting for a long time by the entrance.
Irene stepped forward to hold Sandra’s hand, but Sandra avoided her.
“Sandra, what are your plans for the future? Are you really going to marry Zachary?”
Sandra said to them firmly for the last time, “We have no relationship anymore. This is the last time I’m repeating this.”

“How can you talk to your parents in such a way? We gave birth to you and raised you. What did we do wrong?”
Sandra replied coldly, “If it weren’t for Ivy’s fake paternity test results, I wouldn’t know how it feels to be stabbed in the back by my own parents.”
After saying that, she dragged her suitcase and left.
Although Zachary did not help Mike and Irene persuade Sandra, he still bought them two tickets on the same flight to return home together. After all, Mike and Irene would still need to make the necessary wedding preparations and attend their wedding.
