Sandra hid in Zachary’s embrace. He always stood by her side unconditionally.
After Mike fell, he never stood up again. He became bedridden and could not take care of himself. Irene initially took care of him, but she soon fell ill later.
Both of them were admitted to the hospital. They tried many ways to send messages to Sandra, asking her to visit them. However, Sandra never visited once.
Zachary felt pity for them in the end. He transferred the two of them to a nursing home. He paid the fees for ten years and stopped caring for them.
The nursing home staff soon realized that no one came to visit Mike and Irene, so they treated them as perfunctorily as possible.
Sandra, on the other hand, followed Marcus and the research team to continue their research in the south.
They went to Antarctica for their trip.
During the trip, Sandra was pregnant with their first child. Zachary carried Sandra and spinned around.
He gave the child a nickname–Aurora.
